I would encourage everyone thinking of going to Appleseed to seek help elsewhere. This place is a joke! I took my 5yr old daughter there on November 10, 2010 for an evaluation that lasted an hour in which I was asked questions about our family while no one interacted with my daughter at all. It is now Jan 4, 2011 and I have never received a phone call or letter of any kind explaining the results, if they can help her or not, no contact at all. I called them two weeks ago and was told they would call back by Thursday which we are now almost 3 weeks from that date and still no results or contact of any kind. Be smart and don't give this place the time of day. They all need counseling on how to run a place of business.

Attempted to speak with someone, and twice someone by the name of Dawn sighed and hung up on me. Very poor customer service.
I've been here a number of times and have seen a number of clinicians. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and more prompt than other places I've gone. If an appointment is at the end of the day, of course there's a bit of a wait, as with any healthcare facility since even one late person in the morning will domino every else's appointments back a bit, but Appleseed is much much better than other places I've gone. If you're having mental health issues, they are more than worth a shot.
Poorly ran & unprofessional for a mental health facility. Taking my family elsewhere. Not enough help at front desk. Overheard older receptionist making fun of a co-worker who appeared to be hearing impaired. On another occasion I've heard nasty comments by front desk supervising staff about people waiting to be seen. You will sit for a long time as they do not notify your therapist. Then our child psychiatrist was cruel. She spoke to her co-workers in a demeaning manner when they were trying to help us.
